Playground at the restaurant, oh boy did he love this

I can run down the hill

I can go on the playground myself

I would really like to throw the football with these guys

I wonder if they will let me play

Carter and Cole, playing on the slide. They loved this! It was so much fun to watch them together.

It got kind of chilly for the first time this year so we had to dig out some pants. Here he is, trying not to step on the pant legs. My poor little short legged boy with a big belly. sigh, i love it!

He was being incredibly sweet and loving Mommy here. Had to capture the moment. Thanks Aunt T.

Aunt Theresa is always telling me to take a pictuer of his curls (duck tail). Here it is after I styled it a little.

Holloween Sneak Preview

Here he is, in full dragon gear.

Needless to say, he did not like it at first.

Ahh, Carter and Maggie, Holloween last year. Maggie and Paige need to come visit soon!

While Mommy is at Work

This is Brian's way of trying to get me to come home from work on a Saturday. Sending me cute pics of what the boys are doing at home. NO FAIR!

Carter's First Birthday

Carter is almost a year old (I can't believe it), so we celebrated his birthday this weekend with family. It was a lot of fun. I think Carter showed more personality this weekend than I have ever seen. He really hammed it up for our company. As for the birthday cake, I wasn't surprised that he didn't dive in like a lot of kids do. He is still learning how to eat table food and prefers the gerber baby food (my guess is because it goes down quicker) rather than trying whatever is on our plates. But we mashed up the cake and ice cream together and he seemed to get the hang of it.

Racing his cars on the present.

Just one of my favorite goofy faces he makes.

Look at that sweet smile. He must take after his mommy. : )

4th of july fireworks

This is my mom's side of the family. We didn't have everyone, but we did have a great turn out. It was so much fun to getting all the little ones together. Chaotic, of course, but so much fun.

This is my Dad's side of the family, just grandparents, some of the grandkids and great greatgrand kids. Not sure how the aunts, uncles and spouses escaped this family photo. Think we had to act fast with who we had there at the time.

Swimming

And offically loving it now.

Here he is thinking about it. Maybe its not so bad.

I know, I don't post anything for a month and then go post too many pictures. But we had a lot going on this past weekend. Here we are a the pool for the first time. Notice he was not so sure about the water at first, but he definately loved it by the end. He looks so scared in this first picture.
These were taken after we got out of the pool.

Brian holding Ryan and Holly's new baby boy JonParker. He is so tiny and so cute! Carter looked huge next to him. Too bad JonParker has more hair than Carter.

Fun at the BBQ

Sweet little Cole, we wore him out!

Carter pushing Grant in the jumperoo.

Ryan, Leila and Cannon were impressed with the bumbo seat.

Cater telling Leila all about his toys.

All the Deliver Me Fit babies came over on Sunday for a BBQ so Carter got to see all his friends. Here they are exploring the new territory. We had so much fun just watching. There is nothing like getting 6 babies under the age of 1 together for some entertainment.
